What is the recommend age for this book?

Of course every child is different, but we think Princess Adelina is good to read aloud to children ages 6 and up.  For independent reading, we suggest 10 years old and up.

Is Princess Adelina a true story?

Princess Adelina is based upon the true story of Hedan, an 8th century ruler of Thuringia, and his Christian bride.  Many details are impossible to verify after more than 12 centuries, but to the best of our knowledge the key elements of the story are true.
